As VMG’s influence in digital OOH continues to spread around the world, InfoPods have been installed and commissioned in Europe’s leading shopping and leisure complex – CentrO at Oberhausen in the Ruhr District of West Germany. This is a joint venture with Mall Media EU. CentrO is a significant European destination with a catchment of over 13 million and an annual footfall of some 23 million, with some 92% visiting regularly. 77% of shoppers are 16-24 and 55% are female, a comparable profile to the UK. Of special interest to brand advertisers is the customer counting and demographic sorting of shoppers passing by, as well as cutting edge software designed to detect motion before the screen prompting an on-screen response from the content.
